Infection Prevention Statement from BES Healthcare Ltd

Dear Customer,

BES Healthcare Ltd would like to keep you informed of our infection prevention policy to help fight the Covid-19 outbreak. The health, safety, and well-being of our customers, employees and their families is very important to us. Bearing this in mind, we have implemented various additional infection prevention steps towards safeguarding our customers and staff, while ensuring our continued ability to serve our customers.

Lockdown Policy

To safeguard our customers and employees in these difficult times while respecting the Government decision on Lockdown for three weeks, we will not be carrying out any face to face visits/assessments with clients.

During this period, we are currently working on skeletal staff, but we are still here to offer you the help and support that you need.

If you have any requirements for demos/assessments we can still offer them via a virtual platform i.e. skype or video call, but please get in touch with us on and we will arrange for this to happen. There might be delays in arranging these, since we have only one member of the team able to offer virtual demos/assessment.

We will only have the most essential members in the office e.g. Operations and Customer Services where working from home would be incredibly difficult. Customer Services will continue to provide support via the phone and you will continue to receive deliveries for orders place. Please bear with us on any delays in deliveries.

If our staff start showing symptoms of COVID-19 we will make sure they self-isolate and follow the government guidelines, and do not come in contact with any products.

Equipment leaving the BES Warehouse:

Our Operations team are wiping down every piece of equipment and secondary support with disinfectants when handled or built, before it goes into its packaging. This excludes any equipment that is already sealed in the manufacturers packaging.

We are currently using disinfectants that do not have bleaching properties, and have a neutral pH level, to ensure they can be used and do not damage fabric, aluminium and other metals. If you would like to wipe down equipment once received, please do take into consideration these important disinfectant properties to protect your products.

Equipment being returned:

We request all our customers to continue to decontaminate equipment before sending them back to BES Healthcare, to ensure our staff safety.

Decontamination Equipment Support

For customers with decontamination equipment we will postpone all non-essential maintenance and service as far as possible without putting our customers’ ability to provide their service in jeopardy. For visits that are essential we will send out an engineer with the following precautions:

  • They will only go to site if they are in full health
  • They will use appropriate PPE for the job and situation
  • They will disinfect their hands before entering the customer’s premises, and will do so again before leaving.

We ask that our customers ensure the environment is suitable for them to work in with special regard to social distancing, and in advance of the visit please make us aware on any special procedures you would like us to follow in line with your own policies.

Please bear with us in these difficult times, as we are doing our utmost to protect customers, employees and families around us.

Thank you for your trust in BES Healthcare, and for your continued business. We are monitoring this on a daily basis and will keep you informed of any changes.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01179666761 or email

Best regards,
